An extensive two-month cruise around the Land Down Under was terminated days after the tragic passing of an elderly female passenger who was stranded by the ship on a remote tropical isle.

The elderly woman had been hiking on the tropical location with shipmates from the Coral Adventurer, but broke off from the party for a break. The liner sailed away leaving her and went back after some time after the crew became aware the woman was missing.

A large-scale rescue mission located her remains the subsequent day.
